ADVANCED THERAPIES

Regenerative medicine, with honest guardrails

Where we stand on stem cells, exosomes and ozone-based therapies.

What it is

Stem cell, exosome and blood-ozonation therapies get a lot of attention. Most are not FDA-approved for the uses that are marketed, and some have caused real harm. Refuah’s position is simple. We help you assess the evidence, we point you to registered clinical trials where they exist, and we offer nothing that falls outside current US regulations.

Investigational. This therapy is not FDA-approved for longevity or anti-aging, and the evidence is early. We offer it only after a physician consultation, with informed consent, when your physician judges that the possible benefit outweighs the risks.

Who it’s for

  • People considering these therapies who want a cardiologist’s unbiased read
  • Patients interested in legitimate clinical trials

What to expect

  1. An evidence review consult
  2. Help finding registered trials (ClinicalTrials.gov)
  3. Coordination with your own physicians

The evidence, in plain language

Apart from approved uses such as certain blood and bone-marrow transplants, stem cell products are considered investigational. The FDA has warned about unapproved stem cell and exosome products. Ozone and EBOO-type therapies lack strong human evidence and carry risks, including embolism.

Safety first

  • We do not sell unapproved cellular or exosome products
  • We will tell you plainly if a therapy you are considering looks risky
