DIAGNOSTICS

See inside, wisely

Cardiac echo, vascular ultrasound, calcium scoring and optional MRI, chosen with judgment.

What it is

Imaging is powerful when it answers a real question. Our cardiology-led team chooses tests based on your risk, not a checklist.

Who it’s for

  • People with risk factors, symptoms or a strong family history
  • Members seeking an imaging baseline after counseling

What to expect

  1. A consultation to choose the right test
  2. Imaging at Refuah or at accredited partner centers
  3. A results review with your physician

The evidence, in plain language

Coronary calcium scoring has strong evidence for refining heart-risk decisions in selected adults. Echocardiography and vascular ultrasound are well established for specific questions. Whole-body MRI for screening is still debated.

Safety first

  • Radiation, contrast and claustrophobia are discussed
  • Incidental findings are followed up responsibly

Refuah programs support, and never replace, care from your own physicians. Results vary from person to person and nothing here is a promise of a specific outcome. Imagery is illustrative.
